Student Convention

The purpose of A.C.E Student Convention is to give Christian young people opportunities to develop their God-given talents and gifts, as well as their leadership skills. God's Word states that Christian youth should not only be different from the world, but they should also set a standard of excellence.

There are six (6) categories from which to choose:

• Academics

   Checkers, chess, spelling, PACE Bowl, Science-Engineering, Theoretical, Collection.

   Social Studies- Research, Collection.

   Poetry, Short Story Writing, Essay Writing, Book Report.

• Physical Education

Athletics-100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 4x100m, long jump, shot put, discus. 

Sports- Basketball, volleyball, futsal, table tennis, tennis.

• Exhibits

Photography

Design and Technology

Manual Arts

Media Arts-Photography

Visual Arts- Oil, watercolor, acrylics, pastels, coloured pencils.

• Music

Instrumental- Piano, woodwind, string.

Vocal- choir, solo, quartet, duet, trio.

• Platform

Puppets, dramatic dialogue, poetry recitation, mime, expressive reading, preaching, oratory, clown 

act, illustrated storytelling.

• Scripture- Bible Memorization

Golden Apple- Proverbs

Golden Lamb- Gospel of John

Golden Harp- Psalms

Silver Apple- Other Books of the Bible

After a year of preparation students from various A.C.E schools come together for a week of intense competition, culmination with an awards ceremony.
